Youll be utilizing your knowledge of behavioral health, including medications, substance use treatment, and evidence-based practices, to make a difference every day. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelors degree from and accredited college or university with a major or equivalent course work for a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field and knowledge of mental illness.
Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and maintain approved drivers status throughout employment.
One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening.
Masters degree in psychology, social work or a related human service field.
Bilingual, Spanish and/or ASL preferred.

What Youll Do
- Build meaningful, therapeutic relationships with adults and families through engagement and support
- Provide case management and therapeutic skills training and connect individuals to crucial community resources
- Assess individuals strengths and needs, creating tailored Person-Centered Recovery Plans
- Document services in a timely manner and ensure consistent follow-up care
- Collaborate with a passionate interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to adult recovery
- Use innovative thinking and resilience to navigate challenging situations and crises
Differential Detail
- Up to $4.00/hr - Tenure with BTCS
- $.75/hr - Bilingual
- $ Up tp $2.00/hr - prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
- $1.00/hr - Advanced Licensure
- $.50/hr - LCDC Licensure
- Eligibility for $600 quarterly Service Delivery Incentive Award
