Job Description
The Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS) Jail Based Competency Restoration (OCR) LPHA is one member of a multidisciplinary treatment team offering psychiatric evaluation, medication evaluation and management, cognitive behavior therapy, curriculum-based competency restoration education, motivational interviewing and treatment planning. The Licensed Clinician requires the development and maintenance of effective, professional working relationships with jail and court personnel. A high level of detailed electronic documentation is required and adherence to company and state guidelines is expected.

Must be fully licensed in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Psychologist.
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct care of persons with a serious mental illness.
Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License, meet Bluebonnet Trails Community Services driving requirements, and maintain approved driving status throughout employment.

The Licensed Clinician Is Responsible For
- Administering clinical screening and assessments, including screening candidates for program admission
- Facilitating individual and group competency restoration services using approved curriculum
- Providing individual therapy, when clinically appropriate & written participant updates to the courts.
- Collaborate with the JBCR treatment team, jail and court personnel
- Informing needs assessments, Person-Centered Recovery Plans, and aftercare plans in preparation for jail release and/or transitions back to general population
Location: Williamson County
Hourly Salary Range: $32.41 – $ 43.66
Differential Detail
- Up to $2.00/hour – Previous experience with a community center in Texas in a similar role
- Up to $3.50/hour – Previous crisis experience
- Up to $4.00/hour – Tenure with BTCS
- $1.00/hour – Ph.D
- .75/hour – Bilingual
