Job Description
This position delivers high quality professional recovery-oriented case management and skills training services to people with severe and persistent mental illnesses. This position is supported by an interdisciplinary team made up of professional staff including nurses, peers, psychiatrists and others, focused on providing state of the art integrated care.
The person in this position will utilize their expertise to provide training in skills that primarily focus on furthering an individual’s independent living, community skills, and overall wellness and recovery. Services provided by the person in this position should promote community integration, increased stability within the community, as well as an improved quality of life and implementation of self-determination for individuals served, as appropriate. Services provided by this position also include activities and skills training designed to address barriers and strengths related to an individual’s recovery and wellness. Service delivery will occur face-to-face or through televideo in the community or in-clinic.

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major or equivalent course work for a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field.
Knowledge of mental illness.
Must have valid Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driving status throughout employment.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening.
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related human service field.

Location: Bastrop, TX
Hourly Salary Range: $21.46 – $30.71
Differential Detail
- Up to $4.00/hour – Tenure with BTCS
- $.75/hour – Bilingual
- $Up to 2.00/hour – prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
- $1.00/hour – Masters Degree in Human Services
- $1.00/hour – Advanced Licensure
- $.50/hour – LCDC Licensure
- Eligibility for $200/month Service Delivery Incentive Award
