Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood development journey at our Christian preschool.
We are looking for an outgoing individual who is kind, loving and nurturing to the children. Also, welcoming, outgoing, and engaging with the parents. These attributes are a MUST!
In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to child welfare will help shape the educational experiences of our preschool students, preparing them for future success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, math concepts, and physical education to foster holistic development.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that align with preschool standards and support individual learning styles.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to create a respectful learning environment.
- Provide attentive toddler care and support children’s social-emotional needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Utilize classroom management skills to organize activities, monitor student progress, and maintain a structured learning environment.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing when appropriate to track developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, challenges, and achievements to foster a collaborative approach to education.
- Clean the facility, and classrooms, multiple times per day.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom experience and child welfare knowledge is preferred.
- Have the physical abililty to clean the facility, lift children, change diapers, be on your feet many hours at a time, and help prepare meals.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners including toddlers and children requiring additional support through early intervention services.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
