Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, energetic IT Support & Infrastructure Director to solve complex IT infrastructure problems and enhance IT Support services within the organization. This important role will be responsible for managing the team responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization's enterprise server and cloud architecture along with the team responsible for IT support for internal employees. The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT leader who can work with stakeholders to understand existing systems, networks, and technologies to operate, improve, and integrate them as the business grows with the support of a team spread across multiple locations in the Midwest. This position is full-time and is located in either the Indianapolis, IN, Cleveland, OH, or Lansing, MI area.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 7 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, network engineering, public cloud infrastructure, or related fields, with a proven track record of maintaining SLAs and providing friction-less experiences
- 5 years of IT leadership experience, preferably leading multiple teams.
- Proven experiences (3 years) designing and implementing enterprise-level cloud environments, preferably through Terraform code.
- Experience (5 years) with internal network design (subnetting, routing, etc.)
- Scripting experience with Python and/or Powershell to automate various Microsoft 365 or server processes.
- Experience with AWS technologies, including EC2, EKS, Fargate, and Cloudwatch.
- Knowledge of how to design and implement Aruba wireless networks and HPE Aruba Clearpass Policy Manager.
- Experience (3 years) of managing Juniper and/or Cisco switches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus within the IT team and other business units.
- Professional certifications in VMware, networking, AWS, or Microsoft systems management preferred.
- Telecommunications industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing a team of highly-skilled infrastructure engineers, systems engineers, and support technicians.
- Creating tactical plans for maintaining, migrating and modernizing server & storage infrastructure across the organization.
- Administering public cloud environments (including AWS and Microsoft Azure) for use within the organization.
- Managing IT infrastructure and support vendor relationships and product procurement processes.
- Assisting with review of technical requirements for new software applications
- Administering Microsoft 365 & Entra ID
- Developing plans to consolidate and streamline physical infrastructure spread out across multiple physical datacenters and offices
- Spearheading systems integrations/migration between two separate environments.
- Overseeing automation for IT service management and other repeatable infrastructure processes as well as advanced level support for internal users
- Ensuring current backup and restore procedures with Dell Avamar and Veeam are up-to-date and effective
- Interfacing with other business unit and IT leaders to streamline Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes
- And owning the IT server/systems Change Management processes.
