Responsibilities

As a Self Employed Live-in Care Expert, your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our dedicated care and office team for support and guidance

Requirements

• A kind and caring nature
• Professionalism and Confidentiality
• Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts
• Follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies & Procedures
• Up to date mandatory care training certificates
• DBS on the update service
• Three professional and/or educational references
• Strong verbal and written English
• A valid driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
• Have a Right to Work in the UK
• Previous experience is beneficial but not necessary
