Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 20–40 hours per week
Full-Time Start: October 2026
Blueberry Village is a licensed, family-owned child care program in Frederick, Colorado, and we're growing! We're looking for a dependable, compassionate, and enthusiastic Lead Teacher/Caregiver to join our team as we expand this fall.
This position will begin part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time in October 2026 as our program grows. We are happy to consider applicants seeking either part-time or full-time employment.

What You'll Do
- Provide loving, attentive care in a mixed-age classroom.
- Lead engaging, play-based learning activities.
- Support children's social-emotional growth and preschool readiness.
- Supervise indoor play, outdoor activities, and occasional field trips.
- Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and daily routines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with families and fellow team members.
- Follow all Colorado child care licensing requirements and Blueberry Village policies.
- Independently lead classroom operations when scheduled.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
- Early childhood education experience is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must meet Colorado child care licensing requirements.
- Must be dependable, professional, patient, and able to take initiative.
- Must be able to pass all required background checks.
- Must be able to lift children and actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
