Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and efficient food production.
- Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
- Assist in menu planning, inventory control, and food management to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
- Support catering events and banquet services by coordinating food preparation and ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with restaurant management on staffing needs, shift scheduling, and operational improvements.
Skills
- culinary experience with a background in high volume service , catering, or restaurant settings.
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with inventory management, inventory control, and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Experience in banquet service, dietary department operations, or hospitality is a plus.
