Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be a key player in delivering top-notch food experiences in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen operations, and supporting the overall management of food service. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about culinary arts, experienced in a fun fast paced restaurant, and eager to lead by example while working collaboratively with the team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and efficient food production.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Assist in menu planning, inventory control, and food management to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Support catering events and banquet services by coordinating food preparation and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management on staffing needs, shift scheduling, and operational improvements.

Skills

  • culinary experience with a background in high volume service , catering, or restaurant settings.
  • Proven supervising or team management experience within a kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and kitchen management practices.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, inventory control, and food safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Experience in banquet service, dietary department operations, or hospitality is a plus.
