Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to oversee and enhance the quality of care provided within our assisted living community. The Clinical Director will play a pivotal role in managing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and leading a team of healthcare professionals. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of medical management, and the ability to navigate the complexities of healthcare management effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the clinical team to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures in alignment with licensing standards.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency.
- Provide training, mentorship, and support to clinical staff to foster professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Address patient concerns and feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare management.
- Ensuring resident charts and EMAR is accurate.
- Communicating with doctor's office/3rd party vendors/resident families.
- Completing assessments on prospective residents and building care plans for new residents and quarterly assessments for current residents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Proven experience in medical management or healthcare management roles.
- Strong knowledge of state licensing standards and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Current licensure as a RN or LPN.
