*Responsibilities*
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Adhere to individualized care plans based on the specific needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to Resident Care Assistant & Resident Care Director.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Perform light housekeeping duties as needed to support the client's living situation.
*Requirements*
- Previous experience in long-term care, home care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize changes in client health or behavior.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and families.
- Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence and dignity.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
