Warehouse Returns Specialist
Location: Lenexa, KS (On-site 100%)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: Hourly – $24/hour
Job Summary:
The Returns Specialist is responsible for processing customer returns accurately and efficiently while ensuring a positive customer experience. This role works closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage returns, warranties, and inventory. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer returns using ERP software
- Request RMAs from distributors and coordinate return shipments with the warehouse
- Facilitate warranty exchanges for products under manufacturer warranty
- Support the customer service team with complex return issues
- Monitor return trends and escalate concerns impacting profitability
- Clean, test, and grade electronic equipment
- Assist with basic warehouse duties including packing, labeling, and sorting
- Perform general housekeeping tasks (sweeping, dusting, trash removal)
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to make and receive phone calls
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in returns processing, eCommerce, or customer service (preferred, not required)
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Magento, or similar

- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel strongly preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- 70% computer-based work; sitting for extended periods
- 30% warehouse-based work; standing up to 8 hours
- Regular lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Requires bending, reaching, climbing ladders or stairs, and use of warehouse equipment
- Manual dexterity required for computer and equipment operation
