Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Manage access control by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid
- Enforce security protocols and conflict management procedures to de-escalate tense situations
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents as needed
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR to handle medical emergencies confidently
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding swiftly to emergencies or security breaches
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, law enforcement, and the public
- Must possess a valid armed security license or be eligible to obtain one according to local regulations
