This is a full-time role for a Loan Officer at Blue Whale Lending in Troy, MI. The Loan Officer will be responsible for tasks such as loan origination, providing exceptional customer service, and managing finances. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and offer tailored loan solutions to meet their needs whether it is refinancing or purchasing a home. You will be your own business owner, trusted with autonomy, no micromanagement and be surrounded by dedicated leaders who are devoted to team building.
Responsibilities
- Manage outbound and inbound calls with prospective clients to discuss their financial needs, goals, and options for loan products
- Advise clients on the home buying and refinance process
- Educate clients on different types of loans and terms available
- Evaluate clients’ credit by analyzing credit reports, income statements, tax returns, and other financial documents
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the loan process to keep them informed of their application status
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, financial planners, and other professionals to generate referrals
- Achieve or exceed sales goals and objectives
Qualifications
- Licensed Loan Origination
- Experience in Sales and Customer Service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and guidelines
