Job Description: D-7 – House Manager (HM)
Reports To: D-8 - Site Director
Position Summary
The House manager is responsible for the group home staff and implementing all necessary training to provide active resident treatment. The HM is supervised directly by the Site Director. The HM will work directly with the QIDP with Habilitation Planning and developing programs deemed necessary by the Interdisciplinary Team.
The HM should possess commitment and dedication to the group home and the residents they serve. The house manager should be able to relate to people with ICF/IDD in a supportive and therapeutic manner.
Under limited supervision, this person is responsible for the overall management of the ICF/IDD group home, ensuring that all programs are adequately implemented to meet the individual goals and needs of the residents.
Experience and Education Required
- Working knowledge of Developmental Disabilities gained through education and/or professional experience.
- Knowledge of educational/training techniques, behavioral intervention and treatment, task analysis, developmental programming, and habilitation program implementation and monitoring.
- Ability to direct others positively to provide the link between the habilitation plan and program implementation.
- Current DSP IV or higher in good standing (internal only).
- Minimum Education required is a high school diploma or equivalent, plus one (1) year of ICF/IDD supervisory experience.

- Familiarity with company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
