We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces
- Conduct regular water testing and adjust chemical levels to maintain optimal water quality
- Inspect and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
- Use hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks
- Identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with service technicians for complex repairs
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, chemical treatments, and repairs performed
- Ensure all pools meet safety standards and comply with health regulations
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures for pools as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure tools are properly stored after use
Experience
- Prior experience in pool maintenance or service technician roles is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment repair is highly desirable
- Experience with pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance tasks is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment repair techniques is essential
- Service technician experience in related fields such as HVAC or appliance repair is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and perform repairs independently or with minimal supervision
This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and possess a valid driver’s license.
