What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Specialist position at Blue Water Sedans & Limousines?
Blue Water Sedans is a locally owned and operated black car service based in Santa Cruz. We are a small, established business with a team-oriented work environment where every person plays an important role in creating an excellent client experience. As we prepare to grow over the next year, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to contribute to a supportive and professional office culture.
Your primary responsibility will be to support a high level of customer satisfaction from initial reservation through final payment. This role involves frequent communication with clients and chauffeurs by phone, text, and email, as well as working in our reservation system. Because business volume can change throughout the day, week, and year, the ideal candidate will stay calm under pressure, prioritize effectively during busy periods, and use slower times productively to stay ahead of upcoming work.
We are seeking someone to start as Part-Time, around 15-25 hours per week. Applicant should at least be available Tuesday through Friday, approximately 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 or 3:00 p.m., with some flexibility depending on the day. Availability around major holidays is important, and occasional weekend or fill-in coverage may be needed for vacations, sick days, or other scheduling needs. Initial training typically takes about a month and is paid. This is an in-person position.
There is also potential for this role to grow into a position with greater responsibility over time. We value people who want to learn, develop their skills, and take on more as they become comfortable with the basics of the job.
