INTRODUCTION TO ROLE:
The Housekeeping Inspector reviews and inspects housekeeping and designated areas to ensure a positive guest experience. Responsible for paying close attention to detail and focusing on guest impact in relation to property standards.

- Ability to supervise and work with employees

- Inspect rooms, verify that designated areas exceed the standard, report status, and may report or update the system to ensure areas are guest-ready.
- Provides assistance in housekeeping, laundry, and houseman departments, including coaching, staff development, process improvements, and work support
- Assists in training new hires in the housekeeping, houseman, and laundry departments.
- Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and take corrective action.
- Responds to guest requests in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.
- Examines the building to determine the need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and makes recommendations to management
- Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and always guest-ready.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provides regular and reliable attendance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of experience in housekeeping in the hospitality industry
- Supervisory experience preferred
