We are growing, and our busy, private-practice optometry office is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and friendly Optometric Technician to join our team!
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Prior Optometric Technician experience required
- Experience with patient record software
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration

Responsibilities:
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure precise documentation of patient data
- Maintain practice confidentiality, follow HIPAA guidelines and follow rules and regulations of the practice
- Greet patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Perform appropriate exam testing for patients (auto-refraction, retinal imaging, OCT imaging, visual field, etc.)
- Maintain office flow
- Assist the doctors with patient communication and referrals
- Contact lens instruction (I&R)
- Order contact lens trials
- Maintain clean and stocked exam and test rooms
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule:
- Full-time or part-time
- Monday through Friday
- No weekends
