Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and prescribing corrective lenses
- Ability to diagnose and manage ocular conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other vision-related issues
- Strong knowledge of best practices related to vision health, ocular diseases, and preventative care
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and counsel patients on eye care and treatments
- Commitment to maintaining a patient-centered approach with professionalism and empathy
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and valid state license to practice optometry in Pennsylvania
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented clinical environment
