Location: Beatrice, NE - Full time at 36 hrs/week - Starting at $22.16/hr

About the Role:
This supervisory position oversees the daily operations of the Early Head Start program and Head Start Family Advocacy activities, supports a dedicated team of educators and helps families achieve personal and developmental goals through collaborative, community-focused engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support staff, and volunteers
• Manage day-to-day operations, including safety, staffing, scheduling, and compliance
• Coordinate and carry out home visits, family engagement efforts, and individualized support planning
• Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts and ensure full program participation (ERSEA)
• Develop strong relationships with families, staff, and community partners
• Ensure the implementation of state, federal, and agency regulations
• Promote a safe, clean, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with Head Start performance standards and state licensing regulations

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has at least 1 year of experience in a paid management role OR 2 years of Head Start experience
• Possesses strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Can engage with diverse populations and work collaboratively across teams
• Is passionate about early childhood education and family empowerment
• Can balance professional judgment with a heart for service

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 1 ½ years of experience working with children and formal training in a related field.
• High school diploma or GED (additional education preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured transportation
• Must meet background, health, and safety screening requirements
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)
• General computer literacy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or coursework in early childhood education, family services, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of family engagement practices and community resources
