Big Blue Swim School is looking for a Assistant Manager to take the next step in leadership. This role is ideal for an experienced people leader who thrives on organization, operational excellence, and supporting a high-performing team-all while making a meaningful impact on children and families.
As a Senior Manager, you'll take on expanded administrative and operational responsibilities, serve as a key partner to the General Manager, and help drive consistency and execution across the school. We are a growing portfolio with significant upward mobility for the right leader.

What You'll Do
Customer ExperienceRevenue Support
Ensure a consistently exceptional experience for swimmers and families
Support conversion of trials into weekly enrollments through strong front-desk execution
Monitor customer issues, escalations, and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution
Partner with the GM on retention, scheduling efficiency, and service recovery
Team LeadershipDevelopment
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 15–25 Swim Associates and front desk staff
Lead daily operations and act as Manager-on-Duty when the GM is offsite
Conduct regular 1-on-1s, coaching sessions, and performance feedback
Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of instructors and staff
Help reinforce accountability, culture, and Big Blue standards across all shifts
AdministrativeOperational Management
Own key administrative workflows including scheduling support, timekeeping accuracy, and onboarding coordination
Assist with payroll review, PTO tracking, and compliance documentation
Maintain training records, certifications, and required staff documentation
Support reporting, operational metrics, and internal audits as needed
Help implement SOPs and ensure consistency across daily operations
FacilityPool Operations
Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and operating to Big Blue standards
Support oversight of water quality, pump room checks, and safety procedures
Act as a point of contact for maintenance issues and vendor coordination
Ensure staff certifications and safety protocols are followed at all times

Swim or Safety Background (Preferred) – Not required, but a plus
