Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage seating arrangements and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Take and process customer orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and dining spaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with guest relations practices and a commitment to enhancing the dining experience.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems like Aloha POS is a plus.
