Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring equipment.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide assistance during conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety and security.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of firearms and other security equipment as required.
Skills
- Valid certification in armed security or law enforcement is preferred
- Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle various situations effectively.
- Military background or training is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions quickly.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and law enforcement personnel.
