Collaboration across engineering, construction, IT, environmental, permitting, and operations will be key to ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle management of electric construction projects, including planning, estimating, permitting, scheduling, budgeting, risk analysis, material procurement, and contractor oversight.
- Prepare projects for bidding, support contractor selection, and coordinate field construction activities.
- Ensure projects meet engineering, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor project performance against baselined scope, schedule, and budget; take corrective actions as necessary.
- Manage project contracts and ensure compliance with all commercial and legal requirements.
- Support in-service preparation and post-construction close-out activities.
- Work closely with construction management, engineering, permitting, compliance, environmental, land services, and supply chain teams, holding stakeholders accountable for deliverables.
- Foster strong working relationships with municipalities and local authorities.
- Maintain timely updates to project schedules, cost forecasting, and invoicing.
- Identify, document, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive safe, reliable, and efficient execution aligned with company standards and customer expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience managing electric construction projects.
- Experience with hydroelectric, SCADA, electric generation automation, and/or telecommunications systems.
- 3 years managing project budgets and schedules.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel 30–40 percent.
- Ability to work onsite Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in and around Monticello, IN.
- PMP certification.
- Knowledge of electric system design, utility operations, construction practices, and contract management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and construction scheduling tools.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams across engineering, construction, environmental, and operational groups.
Salary : $90 - $100
