Pay Rate: $23-$25/hour

Duration: 12/02/2024 to 05/17/2025 possible extension

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Clerk to join our client in Abbott Park, IL. This role involves supporting the procurement team with various clerical and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient purchasing operations. You will work closely with the procurement and finance departments to manage records, process purchase orders, and support supply chain logistics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, filing documents, and updating the system as needed.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any order discrepancies.
• Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Assist with data entry, report generation, and other administrative duties related to procurement.
• Provide support to the procurement team with additional tasks as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Some college coursework in Business or a related field
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a procurement, clerical, or administrative role.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of procurement or purchasing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
