Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the recording, tracking, and maintenance of fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals
- Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including depreciation runs, reconciliations, and reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records within the fixed asset subledger
- Perform physical asset verification and asset tagging across onsite locations
- Collaborate with project owners and finance partners to ensure timely capitalization of assets
- Prepare audit documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests
- Post manual journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications
- Support compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies
- Assist with system enhancements related to fixed asset accounting
- Generate standard and ad-hoc reports and analysis for management review
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1?2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships acceptable)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
- Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, lookups, reconciliations required)
- Experience working in an ERP system (SAP preferred; Oracle, NetSuite, or similar acceptable)
- Exposure to fixed assets or project accounting
- Familiarity with journal entries and reconciliations
- Experience supporting month-end or quarter-end close
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
