Full-Time Referral Specialist Position
Blue Springs Family Care, a busy and privately owned medical practice, is growing! We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Referral Specialist to join our team. If you're energetic, outgoing, and committed to delivering top-notch patient care and customer service, we’d love to meet you!
Position Summary:
As a Referral Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients by:
- Completing referral forms accurately and efficiently
- Scheduling appointments with specialists and care facilities in accordance with insurance requirements
- Managing pre-certifications and prior authorizations as needed
- Communicating with patients and providers to ensure seamless coordination of care
Position Details:
- Full-time | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Immediate opening – interviews are currently being scheduled

Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer proficiency
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of various medical specialties and an understanding of their roles in patient care (e.g., cardiology, dermatology, orthopedics, etc.)
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a team-oriented attitude
