Job Overview
We are a small, local remediation company looking for highly motivated individual who enjoys doing a variety of physical tasks. The individual needs to approach the job with an efficient and organized mindset. You will work with an individual who has worked with the company for several years. Please apply if you are interested in working as a field tech in the environmental industry geared toward mold remediation. These tasks include light demolition removal of sheetrock & flooring etc, identify points of water intrusion, vacuuming, scrubbing, along with packing and cleaning contents. All individual are welcome to apply. Hiring is not based solely on experience. However based on applicants experience, preference and rate of pay will be a factor. The company is competitive as it relates to pay.
Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Dependable Transportation.
- Must be able to work as an individual or as part of a team.
- Reliable and good work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Able to work in basements and crawl spaces in a residential environment.
- All PPE will be provided. Must adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Learn processes, some general and some tedious.
- Understand the importance the company places on quality and hold each individual accountable with performance.
Preferred (not required):
- IICRC certification.
- Prior experience in the restoration industry; training will be provided.
- Construction, remodeling or general maintenance experience is advantageous.
- Working knowledge & experience utilizing hand tools and light power tools for demolition, repairs, and surface preparation. Training can be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and debris removal using appropriate tools and techniques to prepare sites for restoration.
- Prepare for project preparation getting supplies and equipment.
- Execute mold remediation procedures following safety protocols to eliminate mold growth effectively.
- Light demolition includes removal of ceiling, sheetrock and flooring etc.
- Packing & cleaning of household contents.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing, climbing ladder for extended periods.
- Lifting minimum of 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in basements, crawlspaces
- Learn processes, some general and some tedious.
- Understand the importance the company places on quality and hold each individual accountable with performance.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
