The Senior Acquisition Support Specialist provides advanced acquisition and contract management support to our Federal Government client. This role supports federal procurement planning, solicitation development, source selection, contract administration, and post-award activities across a wide range of contract types supporting Ready Reserve Force (RRF) vessels, training ships, and fleet requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition Strategy, Planning & Documentation
- Develop comprehensive acquisition strategy plans, including risk assessments, contracting approaches, competition analysis, and milestones.
- Assist in development of SOWs, SOOs, PWSs, specifications, and performance measures.
- Conduct market research and support IGCE development.
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and related solicitation documentation.
- Support formal and informal source selection processes.
- Draft evaluation and decision documentation.
- Prepare award documentation and FPDS-NG/PRISM entries.
- Prepare modifications, option documentation, and support contract performance issue resolution.
- Support contract closeout.
- Conduct advanced Excel-based cost/price analysis including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and nested formulas.
- Support development of pricing calculators and analytical tools.
- Provide guidance and training on PRISM, FPDS-NG, and SharePoint.
- Assist in drafting acquisition policy and regulatory updates.
- 5 years Federal contracting experience.
- FAC-C (Professional) or DAWIA Level III.
- Expert knowledge of federal procurement law, policy, and systems.
- Strong organization, writing, customer service, and multitasking skills.
- Daily/weekly deliverables.
- Part Time hours between core work hours 06:30 am - 6:00 pm ET.
- Remote with occasional travel.
