Contract Specialist with Security Clearance

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions, LLC (Blue Sky) is seeking a part-time Contract Specialist to provide agreement support services in direct alignment with research, development, and innovation support requirements. This role ensures contract documentation, acquisition planning, and agreement execution are compliant, timely, and meet mission objectives. Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition and agreement support, including reviewing, editing, and preparing documentation.
• Assist with market research, cost/price analysis, and drafting contract modifications.
• Support the development of procurement packages, including statements of work, justifications, and determinations.
• Maintain accurate records in contract management systems.
• Coordinate with program managers and technical staff to ensure acquisition milestones are met.
• Monitor contract deliverables, performance, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Contribute to quality assurance and reporting activities as required. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in federal contracting or acquisition support.
• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD acquisition processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Desired Qualifications
• Defense acquisition experience.
• Experience supporting professional/engineering services contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Work Location & Schedule
• Remote/Contractor site with occasional meetings at government or Blue Sky facilities.
