Position Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas at the Hampton Inn – Biloxi / Ocean Springs, MS. This role ensures that all rooms meet Hilton brand standards of quality and comfort, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities

Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing supplies.

Maintain cleanliness of hallways, service areas, and public spaces as directed.

Replace and restock towels, amenities, and supplies in guest rooms.

Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly to the Housekeeping Manager.

Ensure all rooms meet Hilton brand standards for cleanliness and presentation before guest check-in.

Handle guest requests professionally and courteously when encountered during cleaning.

Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals in a safe manner.

Follow hotel safety and sanitation procedures, including OSHA and Hilton guidelines.

Maintain assigned housekeeping carts, closets, and supplies in neat and orderly condition.

Adhere to hotel grooming, uniform, and attendance standards.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.

Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements
