Overview:
The Human Resources & Front Desk Specialist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. This position combines administrative/front desk responsibilities with HR support functions, ensuring smooth daily operations, compliance with regulations, and a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Front Desk & Administrative Support
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and messages.
- Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars.
- Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Post job openings, schedule interviews, and assist with candidate communications.
- Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and assisting with orientation.
- Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a point of contact for routine HR questions.
- Direct employees to HR leadership for more complex concerns.
- Compliance & Recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee and visitor records.
- Ensure compliance with HR-related laws, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in HR, office administration, or customer service preferred but not required, training will be provided.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office technology.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Eligibility for Level II background screening.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (E-verify).
