Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Starting Pay: $18.50 per Hour
Blue Sky Community Services is seeking responsible, caring, and compassionate individuals to join our Day Program team, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Location: Must be available to work at either our Cape Girardeau or Jackson location.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- No evenings, weekends, or major holidays
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Provide safe transportation to and from our day program and community outings
- Assist with daily activities and community integration
- Implement positive behavior supports
- Teach and encourage independent living skills
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and choices
- Complete required documentation and daily progress notes
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Work as part of a supportive and compassionate team
