Blue Sky Mason Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Repair chimneys, fireplaces, and related masonry features using materials such as brick, stone, concrete blocks, and stucco.



• Assist senior masons with layout work, mixing mortar, and setting bricks or stones according to schematics.

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install masonry units with precision.

• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on-site.

• Assist with heavy equipment operation when necessary for lifting or moving large materials.

• Collaborate with team members on concrete finishing, caulking, tile laying, and other finishing tasks to achieve quality results.

• Prior experience working on construction sites involving masonry or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.

• Knowledge of using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers along with power tools like saws and drills is essential.

• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols is highly valued.
