Position Overview
We are seeking an Experienced AV Technician / Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, audio/video installation, and smart home systems. This role involves both technical skill and professionalism, as you will be working directly in clients’ homes and with builders on new construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and service AV and smart home systems (Control4, Lutron, Savant, UniFi, etc.)
- Perform structured cabling (Cat6, speaker wire, coax, fiber) and terminate connections
- Mount and configure TVs, projectors, speakers, cameras, racks, and networking equipment
- Troubleshoot and service existing installations
- Collaborate with builders, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth installations
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Document work performed and update project management software
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in AV installation, low-voltage wiring, or related field
- Strong knowledge of home automation systems (Control4, Lutron, Savant preferred)
- Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and floor plans
- Skilled in rack building, cable management, and device configuration
- Comfortable with ladders, power tools, and physically demanding work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- OSHA certification or industry licenses (preferred but not required)

Pay
$25–$50 per hour (depending on experience) overtime opportunities
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional weekends if required by project deadlines)
