What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Caregiver position at Blue Skies Home Care, LLC?
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including dressing, feeding, and grooming support
- Housekeeping tasks
- Meal preparation
- Aid with bathing, hair care, and mouth care
- Perform laundry duties
- Errands and shopping
Physical Requirements:
- Able to assist with dressing, feeding, hair care, mouth care, shaving (using electric or safety razors), positioning, toileting, and transfers
- Comfortable moving through tight spaces, around objects, and furniture
- Ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, sitting, climbing stairs, and reaching (including above shoulder level)
- Can perform physical tasks continuously for up to an hour without resting
Additional Requirements:
- Active membership on the Family Care Safety Registry or willingness to register
- 18 years or older
- Successfully pass all required background checks upon hiring and throughout employment
- Complete required training
- Must have vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
