A growing interiors and surfaces organization is adding a Stone Fabricator to support high-visibility residential and commercial projects across the Indianapolis market. This is an opportunity to join a hands-on team known for quality craftsmanship, steady project flow, and the ability to turn raw material into polished finished spaces that make a lasting impression. The right person will enjoy working with premium surfaces, using specialized equipment, and seeing their work move from production through final installation.
What You Will Do
- Transform stone slabs into polished, installation ready surfaces for premium residential and commercial projects
- Read shop drawings, field dimensions, and templates to plan precise cuts, edge profiles, and final fit
- Operate bridge saws, polishers, routers, and other fabrication tools to produce clean, consistent finished pieces
- Inspect finished work for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, edge consistency, and installation readiness
- Support occasional field installation, adjustments, or service work to ensure a seamless customer handoff
- Maintain a safe, organized work area and handle stone materials with care, urgency, and attention to team safety
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience in stone fabrication, countertop production, millwork, carpentry, or a closely related trade
- Ability to read measurements, templates, and production drawings with a high level of accuracy
- Comfort working with natural stone, quartz, porcelain, or other hard surface materials
- Confidence using shop tools and equipment while following established safety procedures and quality standards
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials and remain active throughout a full shift
- Reliable communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced production setting
