Project Manager – Mission Critical
Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)
A leading national builder and developer specializing in highly technical construction environments is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of complex, mission critical facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day execution of mission critical construction projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive project success from preconstruction through completion
- Contribute to upfront project planning by preparing estimates, coordinating subcontractor procurement, analyzing bids, and establishing project schedules
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and key milestones
- Oversee quality assurance and commissioning processes to meet strict operational standards
- Evaluate construction risks and support contract negotiations and decision-making processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project partners
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements
- Available for travel based on project requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years’ background overseeing commercial construction projects
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
- Experience with construction management tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working on mission critical or data center projects
- Familiarity with complex MEP systems and commissioning processes
- Understanding of critical environment protocols, including sequencing and turnover requirements
- Experience with method of procedure (MOP) documentation and execution
