Infrastructure Security Engineer
Location: Onsite in Lewes, DE and Rehoboth Beach, DE

Focus
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Microsoft, AWS, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Secure identity platforms including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and AWS IAM through strong authentication, access governance, and privileged account management.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events using enterprise security monitoring and endpoint protection platforms.
- Partner with infrastructure and application teams to identify vulnerabilities, prioritize remediation efforts, and improve overall security posture.
- Strengthen hybrid cloud and on premises environments by implementing security best practices across networking, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, and identity services.
- Support security architecture reviews for infrastructure projects and technology deployments to ensure secure design principles are incorporated from the beginning.
- Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, technical standards, operational procedures, and documentation.
- Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, evolving technologies, and industry best practices while recommending continuous improvements.
Skill Set
- 3 to 5 or more years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, cybersecurity, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Strong hands on experience supporting Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Experience administering AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and securing cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience protecting hybrid cloud and on premises environments, including networking, firewalls, VPNs, identity management, and enterprise security best practices.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, and enterprise security operations.
- Experience with PowerShell or other automation tools is beneficial.
- Industry certifications related to Microsoft, AWS, or cybersecurity are a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
