Focus:
- Build practical experience across customer service, order coordination, inventory support, and branch operations while learning how a local distribution business works.
- Help customers in person, over the phone, and by email, responding to questions and helping move requests toward accurate solutions.
- Enter and review customer orders, confirm key details, and communicate updates so transactions stay accurate and on track.
- Learn the product portfolio and internal processes needed to support customers with increasing confidence.
- Support inventory flow by receiving, organizing, stocking, locating, and preparing materials as needed.
- Coordinate with teammates on order readiness, pickups, and deliveries to help maintain dependable customer service.
- Participate in hands-on training across customer service, systems, products, inventory, and day-to-day business operations.
Skill Set:
- Recent college graduate or upcoming graduate. A bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, supply chain, operations, construction management, or a related field is helpful, but other academic backgrounds are welcome.
- Strong communicator who is comfortable assisting customers face-to-face, by phone, and through email.
- Positive, curious, dependable, and detail-oriented, with genuine interest in learning how the business operates from the ground up.
- Able to shift comfortably between customer-facing work and hands-on operational responsibilities in a fast-paced team setting.
- Basic computer proficiency and readiness to learn order-entry, inventory, and other business systems.
- Willing and able to safely lift, move, stock, and handle materials as part of regular warehouse support.
- Organized and consistent with follow-through, accuracy, and day-to-day task ownership.
