A well-established, community-focused organization in the broadband and telecommunications space is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Strategist to lead its financial operations. This role is pivotal in guiding long-term financial planning and sustainability while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. With the organization on the cusp of key growth and innovation initiatives, this leader will be instrumental in shaping the financial roadmap, providing strategic insights, and fostering a performance-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all facets of financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range investment strategies.
• Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team and board, delivering strategic recommendations based on accurate financial data.
• Oversee external audits and maintain compliance with all regulatory financial reporting requirements.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of internal control systems and financial policies.
• Manage cash flow planning and optimize the organization’s financial position through effective treasury operations.
• Analyze capital investment opportunities and participate in merger and acquisition planning.
• Provide leadership to the accounting team, promoting continuous development and operational efficiency.
• Lead risk management initiatives, including business insurance planning and financial safeguards.
• Collaborate across departments during strategic planning and performance reviews.
• Maintain relationships with banking partners and evaluate options for long-term and short-term financing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in financial and accounting management.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial regulations, particularly in highly regulated industries.
• Proven ability to manage audits, drive strategic planning processes, and present financial insights to executive leadership.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience working in or supporting telecommunications or broadband services is highly advantageous.
