Your Role
The Enterprise Architecture & Innovation (EAI) team helps manage and align Health Plans’ technology infrastructure with its business goals, ensuring that independently conceived and deployed solutions do not lead to unnecessarily complicated and expensive siloed systems. It defines the enterprise business & technology capabilities and their relationships to run, grow, and transform the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic planning and operations; cross-functional alignment and leadership engagement; technology communications, events, and organizational engagement; and strategic and operational execution for the Stellarus Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
As the EAI Platform Manager, the candidate is responsible for driving EAI organization performance to operational goals and leading collaborations for external and executive-level communications on behalf of the Stellarus CTO. Additionally, the role is instrumental to ensure high confidence planning and execution to ensure consistent outcomes of on-time, on-budget, high quality solution delivery. The EAI Platform Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of Healthcare Quality and Affordability (HQA) IT with a matrix reporting relationship to the Stellarus CTO.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Have a strong background driving organization-wide performance to operational goals, collaboration with senior leaders on thought leadership and positioning communications, and strategic technology planning and execution management.
- Develop new product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing product design that reflect business and user needs
- Conduct research and develop a strong understanding of the business' needs, new technologies, technology trends and competitors
- Drive advanced, complex technical product(s) and business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge
- Invest in product process improvements, utilizing data and organizational strategies to foster and influence change
- Serve as an advocate of product team to Senior Leadership and provides consultation to other product managers
Strategic Planning & Operating Model Leadership
Set annual operational goals, track progress, and report out to stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to business executives on priorities, risks, and dependencies.
Lead change management initiatives and communications.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Leadership Engagement
Partner with internal leaders to align upon strategic objectives and foster cross-functional relationships.
Drive integrated technical leadership alignment through weekly meetings, briefings, and structured communications.
Ensure clear information flow between leadership and operational teams.
Technology Communications, Events & Organizational Engagement
Collaborate to develop and deliver light training, communication plans, and adoption strategies for smooth implementation of new systems or processes
Coordinate and prepare leaders for internal and external speaking engagements, including EAI thought leadership and positioning collateral
Partner with Internal Communications and external vendors to produce compelling content that amplifies wins, highlights initiatives, and drives key messages.
Promote employee engagement and transparency on behalf of senior EAI leadership (e.g., corporate citizenship, Employee Resource Groups, community-based programs).
Strategic & Operational Execution
Facilitate stakeholder meetings to identify high level business requirements and align with strategic goals.
Oversee strategic planning and management for business-critical, complex strategic projects and executive level goals from conception to delivery - in partnership with EAI senior leaders.
Collaborate with senior IT leaders to capture and manage technical direction through identification of high-level tasks, technical and decision interdependencies, and team assignments. Optimize plans to ensure scope and budget aligns to business needs.
Support team leaders in tracking and adjusting the strategic plans bi-weekly to ensure progress against the schedule and drive immediate remedial action when appropriate.
Partner across functional teams to ensure operational rigor, clarity of decision-making, and alignment of resource planning.
Recommend and implement action plans to address operational challenges and improve outcomes.
Assess risks and develop contingency plans to achieve business goals.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
- May have a deep knowledge of product management
Requires being comfortable, navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments.
Requires experience coordinating senior-level stakeholders in cross-functional and matrixed teams; intermediate proficiency in project management tools and processes (i.e., project management tools, dashboards for leadership, managing and mitigating risks and issues).
Proven organizational skills, experience in technology planning, and operations management.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Requires experience creating internal and external communications for leadership; thought leadership and positioning papers a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on collaboration platforms.
