VP, Engineering will lead the engineering organization to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge, AI-powered products for health payer customers across the Blue Shield ecosystem and beyond . This leader will be responsible for building a secure, scalable, and resilient technology infrastructure that supports rapid business growth while ensuring data privacy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
This leader will define the product technology vision, architect solutions from the ground up, and build a world-class team that can deliver at speed and scale. The role requires a bold innovator who thrives on creating entirely new products rather than optimizing existing systems.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- 12-15 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within health tech or AI-driven product companies.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale SaaS products leveraging AI/ML technologies.
Deep expertise in software architecture, cloud-native systems, and modern development practices (CI/CD, microservices, containerization).
Experience building and leading distributed, high-performing engineering teams.
Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical strategies to organizational goals.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
