This position is designed and intended to be performed in Peterborough, NH.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely and accurately execute deliveries to commercial and private customer/vendor locations.
- Safely load and unload grain products and related freight.
- Execute internal transfers of product between two or more company locations following company policy and procedures.
- Maintain vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition, keeping accurate driver logs, and operating the vehicle according to local, state, and federal laws.
- Schedule regular preventative maintenance for delivery trucks and equipment.
- Schedule truck and trailer inspections to keep assets operational at all times.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections on vehicles at the start and end of each shift.
- Operate a hand truck and a fork truck.
- Operate all equipment and vehicle in a safe manner and obey all safety laws and regulations.
- Receive, accurately load, and rotate product within warehouse.
- Keep warehouse and loading areas neat and clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid Class A driver's license.
- Have a solid work history.
- Ability to adhere to all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Able to work independently as well as with others.
- Ability to pass pre employment drug screen.
