We are seeking an energetic and experienced Barista to join our vibrant team operating a mobile coffee cart. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change, and maintain accurate cash handling records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mobile coffee cart, including food safety and food handling standards.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to provide excellent service and promote products.
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers quickly while maintaining high standards of beverage quality.
• Assist with basic food preparation and beverage assembly as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Ensure proper cleaning of equipment, utensils, and work area throughout shifts to uphold hygiene standards.

Experience

• Proven barista experience in a café or food service environment with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Previous retail sales transactions experience including cashiering and cash handling is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and beverage service standards.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
• Strong math skills for retail math calculations, cash processing, and inventory management.
• Experience working in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
