Assistant Kitchen Manager

Woody’s Filling Station @ Blue Rocks Family Campground is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager / Lead Cook to join our team for the camping season (now–mid November).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with food service experience who enjoys working in a fun, family-oriented environment. You’ll help lead our snack bar operations during service while working alongside an experienced Kitchen Manager who continues to oversee ordering, inventory, scheduling, and other administrative responsibilities.

Woodys hours are as follows

• Friday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Additional hours may be available during holidays, special events, and peak camping weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
• Assist with supervising and supporting seasonal kitchen staff
• Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Help provide excellent customer service to campground guests
• Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications

• Food service or kitchen experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, organized, and positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Weekend availability is required
