Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, and Resy
- Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages with professionalism, including drink service and cocktail preparation
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is beneficial
- Experience in fine dining
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest satisfaction
- Ability to perform basic math for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
