What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Director position at Blue Rock Human Capital?
Director, HR Business Partner – Enabling Functions
We're looking for a strategic HR leader who can do more than execute programs. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, IT, and Legal and the work is genuinely consequential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders in Finance, IT, and Legal not a support function, a seat at the table
- Lead workforce planning, succession, and talent strategy across your client groups
- Guide leaders through organizational redesign, restructuring, and spans/layers analysis
- Drive change management for active enterprise transformation initiatives
- Build and maintain credibility with complex, high-expectations stakeholders
- Bring a proactive point of view
Who You Are
- You've supported corporate or enabling functions before and understand how Finance, IT, and Legal actually operate
- You're comfortable working with executives who are direct and don't have patience for reactive HR
- You build relationships with skeptical stakeholders and don't need air cover for every conversation
- You can discuss workforce cost, org design, and talent gaps in terms a CFO or GC will respect
- You've managed ambiguity and made calls with incomplete information
- Experience in PE portfolio companies, shared services, or restructuring environments is a strong differentiator
What the Role Requires
- 10 years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP work supporting corporate functions
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Workday experience helpful
- St. Louis-based with hybrid flexibility
Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
