Your Role
As our Assistant Dietary Manager, you will:
- Support the Dietary Manager in daily operations of the department
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and service
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local dietary regulations
- Help schedule, train, and supervise dietary staff
- Maintain high standards of sanitation, safety, and food quality
- Collaborate with nursing and dietary teams to meet residents’ nutritional needs
- (CDM) preferred or willingness to obtain certification
- 1–2 years of experience in dietary services, preferably in long-term care or healthcare setting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards
- ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
