Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring adherence to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system layouts.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity.
- Work on low voltage and high voltage electrical systems safely while following strict safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical problems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control panels.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to support renovation projects and new installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including shift reports and incident documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment essential for troubleshooting.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical schematics and control diagrams accurately.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics related to automation systems.
- Strong understanding of low voltage wiring as well as high voltage safety procedures.
- Hands-on experience with construction framing carpentry or handyman skills is a plus.

Pay: $25.61 - $34.46 per hour
